UNIFORMS

 

Our school uniform is an important part of school life.  It enables our students to feel pride in their school and to be part of a successful community.

School Uniform – Girls
Skirt or culottes in bottle green plaid (knee length) – turn hem up. 
White over blouse with school crest. We encourage the wearing of a white camisole under the blouse.
Black leather lace-up shoes - which cover the whole foot - worn with white ankle socks.
Basic plain black or brown sandals are encouraged during summer.
Bottle green sweatshirt with school crest.

Optional

 

Headwear: A plain bottle green hat/cap must be worn over the summer months during the Daylight Saving period.  Only available from the school office. Cap $7.00; Hat $6.00

Muslim Girls' alternative:

-plain white, long sleeved shirt can be worn under the school shirt all year round

-plain black trousers to be worn under the skirt. The trousers must be worn instead of shorts for P.E

Girls required to wear a head scarf for religious reasons:  The scarf should be plain white.
Sleeveless Vest: Bottle green, polar fleece sleeveless vest with school crest.
Stockings: Black stockings may be worn during winter.

All Year:
Grey school shorts
Grey polo shirt with school crest
Grey socks with green line markings at top
Black leather lace-up shoes – which cover the whole foot
Basic plain black or brown sandals are encouraged during summer
Bottle green sweatshirt with school crest.

All students must comply with the school uniform requirements. If your family have grounds for deviation from this please apply individually in writing to the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.

 

Sports Uniform

 

To be worn for Fitness, Sport and Physical Education lessons.

 

 

Girls and Boys

 

 

All Year:  Green school emblem T-shirt 
                   Black shorts (plain) above knee length
                   Footwear - trackshoes and white socks (only for PE/Fitness/Sport) 
                             - otherwise bare feet

Old Clothing: must be worn for contact sports on the field in the winter.

Jewellery:  Watch - worn on the wrist.
                                Students may wear 1 small stud earring in each ear.

 

Permission to wear cultural jewellery of importance can be obtained by making a request in writing to the Deputy Principal.

 

Hair:  Hair that is shoulder length must be off the face and tied back, with only black hair ties or clips for both boys and girls.  Extreme hair styles are discouraged.

 

Nail polish is not permitted.

 

 

Clear Naming of all School Uniform

 

Clear naming of all uniform is essential and will greatly reduce the problem of lost property. 

 

 

Second-Hand Uniforms

 

A small stock of second-hand uniforms is available throughout the year from the Office.
